Recently I applied to an university. I'm transferring from a community college. I was told by a transfer admissions advisor to fill out the application and after the semester was over, I could send my confidential report and official transcripts. I gave her my unnofficial transcript and she said that's all she needed. Well it has been two weeks and I'm not understanding why I am getting an email saying they will not look at my application unitl I send those in. Can someone help me understand please.

What's so hard to understand? The official policy of the university is that your application is not complete, and therefore not eligible for consideration and review until you have submitted your final official transcripts. This isn't rocket science. If you have a question about this you need to contact the admissions officer at that university.

You may not of been clear, or she may not of understood that the transcript you sent was unofficial. It must be an official transcript sent by your school.

You will need to send in your transcript from this semester too.

Right now your application is not complete.

Call the admissions office

A student transcript does not count - have the school send an official one.

It's pretty simple. They won't look at applications until they are complete. Get your transcripts sent.
