I have heard that Mosby's exam book is good
does anyone know which of these 2 mosby's books are better?

Mosby's Review for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination / Edition 2 by James J. Mizner
Mosby's Pharmacy Technician: Principles and Practice / Edition 3 by Teresa Hopper

I've also heard that the Delmar's book is pretty good, but very in depth and that it has a lot of stuff in it that you don't need to pass the ptce.
In addition to Mosby's and Delmar's, I've seen about 10 other pharm tech study books recommended, and if you search for pharmacy technician books on barnesandnoble.com there are literally over a hundred. My guess is that although some books are of course better than others, there are a lot of pharmacy technician books that you could potentially use to study for and pass the exam.

I am also aware that there are a lot of free resources on the web. I am mainly looking for one biggish book to study from and use as a main resource, while using other sources (internet, another book, practice tests, etc.)
Would anyone recommend either of the 2 mosby books or another source? Which one is best? Thanks!!!

Honestly, they are all the same. The test is quite easy! Each test is different so some things may be on someone else's test and not yours. I used the PTCB Prep Comprehensive Review Manual.

Be sharp on your brand and generics, math and I had a lot of questions regarding what the tech can and cannot do while working (i.e., can a tech answer a patient's question about side effects of a medication).
