Well, you're in the right place: the EAST. To maximize your earnings in your chosen field, there are a number of schools in the east that will help to this end.

OBVIOUS- the Ivy League Schools:

Brown

Columbia

Cornell

Dartmouth

Harvard

Princeton

Penn (University of Pennsylvania, and not to be confused with the public Pennsylvania State University, i.e., Penn State.)

Yale

NOT SO OBVIOUS:

Bucknell University - Lewisburg, PA

Lehigh University - Bethlehem, PA

Villanova University – Villanova, PA

Colgate University – Hamilton, NY

Union College - Schenectady, NY

Your best choices from that list would be UNC, U Conn and Penn State. The absolute worst choice would be Syracuse University, which is generally considered an over-priced haven for second rate students with wealthy parents.

I'm not completely sure about all of these schools, but I visited Penn State and what really stood out to me was that they really help you with internships and getting into a good career path while you are still in college, which is extremely important in business. As far as the rest, they all have very good names (I've never heard of Binghampton, though.) You'd probably be fine at any, but check out information about their business programs to see how successful students are post-grad. Good luck!!
