I have been working as a software devoloper in a steady well paying job for little more than 2 and a half years but i dont believe i am achieving anything since i am working in a banking domain which is totally different from what i did in my undergraduate and i am bored of it since i dont really understand why i am spending all these long hours writing code for stuff i dont even understand (banking stuff i mean)

I want to go back to Grad school and specialise in computers and networking and eventually work in a field which is close to what i studied ,do you think i should go for it ,people say that you got a good job,a good salary why do you want to give up all that and go for it

My finances are pretty decent and I can afford grad school

By the way I am 23 years old and am talking about college full time

If you can afford it and think it's what you need to advance, then go for it. But first, you should rule out the possibility of finding a different job in the field you want using your current resume. Remember, the jobs you want eventually are going to require both education and experience.

I think you should go back to school because it sounds like thats what you really want.

Who cares what everyone says. You have to live your life.

When you are done with a Masters degree, you will have experience and an advanced degree.

Your future looks really bright to me! If you can afford it and you have the drive then go for it!

Who cares what other people think. You are a very smart person...you value happiness over money. It's better to be happy and perhaps make less money than to make more and be miserable. And who is to say that you won't make more with your graduate degree? If you can afford it and have no debts..go for it...and good luck!
