Hi,
i just want to ask, is it true that postgrads who go to medicine, do not get a grant? and is it true that it costs like 17 grand each year?

You can still get grants, but you're more likely to rely on loans. Professional students gain access to special loans called GradPlus and other interesting loans. I get grants and loans.



The cheapest med school is going to cost you about $15k and those are your state schools. Keep in mind that you will probably NOT BE WORKING while you go to medical school and therefore have to get loans to live.



To give you an idea of whats up... I go to a school where the tuition is $41,000 a year. I get loans to live because I dont work. That means I take out $65,000 in loans PER YEAR. I will graduate owing nearly a quarter of a million dollars.

In the UK yes and no it doesn't cost 17K
