I need money to pay my bills. I have signed up to substitute teach, but haven't gotten work yet. I am going to school away from home, and don't have many references or much work experience. What can I do that is legal and won't put myself in danger?
I feel really frustrated because I keep applying for jobs and either don't hear anything or don't get the job.

Ask your department if any of the professors need a research assistant. If there are related departments (e.g. where you are doing a minor), try there too. See if any undergraduates are willing to pay for tutoring. Look for jobs in retail, food service, etc. where you can work in the evenings.

I work for a major British PLC (vote 'PLC of the year 2008' by the Financial Times) and run my business from home, working flexible hours part-time. This business is great for Students, Mum's, Business men and women, it is perfect for anyone who is looking to earn an extra income. I am looking to expand my team and recruit motivated individuals who enjoy talking to people and gain satisfaction from helping others.

I've been doing a LOT of research lately on how to make money online without leaving my house. The most important part to me was that I didn't have to pay anything to start making it. Well what I have come up with is cash crate. For a link to sign up, CLICK HERE.
What you do at this site is fill out small surveys for cash. The surveys take about 2 minutes each to complete and pay on average $0.50 each. You can check out my website, http://moneywithmatt.webs.com for more ideas for making money online. There is a lot of information there regarding making money fast and building your own business.

It does not matter if your parents claim you on their taxes or you proclaim financial independance, their income counts until you are 23, or get married. Instead of working two part time jobs, look for a full time benefitted position that has tution reimbursement. They are out there, usually with bigger companies, bank tellers, secretary or receptionist at a hospital, etc. Reduce your class load.

Your in Grad School so you have a Bachelors degree. Go for a job that your degree is related to. If not go to odd jobs, Mcdonalds, Burger King, Subway, Quiznos, Walmart, etc.

apart from a pole dancer I guess you need to look for a saturday job, waitress or shopworker perhaps unless you have your sights set higher.
another option would possibly be weekend helper at estate agents, sometimes people need showing around properties at weekends only when regular staff dont want to work, good luck.
