which field in MBA is best for an ETC engineer...Looking fwd to get into IIM's?

Also specify which IIM is better w.r.t a particular field for eg.IIMA is good for Finance.marketting etc....also specify which field in MBA+ETC attracts most job offers and best salary pacckages! Thank You!

MBA with marketing can work everywhere and in every field and everywhere... a secure field of markeing.. u will never find dearth of opportunities there... and IIM is surly best option but againg depends upon test cracking.. so look for some othet universities also offering dual MBA like rai, lpu, icfai etc..

Just for your knowledge there is 1 course called Corporate Administration and Facility Management. This course is specially designed for the engineering students. After doing such a course you can use your technical expertise of your engineering stream and as well as your soft skills to manage administration and facility departments of Multi National Corporations (MNC's).



Students are getting salaries which are at par with MBA institutes. Students can also earn back upto 50% of their fees back as they go for 6 months of industry exposure. Course duration is also 1 year as compared to two years in MBA. Students after pursuing this career are getting guaranteed salary packages in the range of 4 - 6 lacs. The packages are totally depending on an individual’s capability, experience and aptitude level.

IIMs conduct a nation wide test called CAT (common admission test) every year in november (3rd sunday). This is followed by group discussions and personal interview, in case you make it to the short list. The short listing for all IIMs generally stop at 98.5 percentile for someone without profesional experience. The criteria of admission to these schools vary each year according to their own policies.But if you lie above 99.5 percentile, you have a very good chance of making it to any of the top 3 IIM - A,B,C.
