Staring at a rock on the side of the road and trying to be really interested in it...

Is anyone else in college studying stuff that they completely cannot stand?

Why did I choose this major???? My classmates are all into it and everything, --why why why?

You know what? I get lots of sleep but when I open chemistry book .....
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

i'm such a complainer. I guess i just want to know if anyone else out there ended up majoring in something they totally cannot stand?

i didn't always like what i had to read in text books or homework i had to do, but i knew it would be different after i graduated... and i was right! i studied aerospace engineering and computer science, and graduated with a computer science degree. it's a lot more fun working in the aerospace field than reading text books about it!

do you know what you want to do when you graduate? is it a lot different from what you are doing in school right now? do you think you will enjoy it?

good luck!

Hey man! Don’t worry too much. We’re both in the same situation. I’d taken up a course I don’t want with even now that I’m about to end. Yah true, I’m in 4th year now and doesn’t exactly know what to do with my life. I’d taken up something that was far to my interest. I love math (though I really excel in this subject) yet I was thrown to medical. I dunno how to face this such situation you couldn’t learn to love. Can anyone understand me now? Probably…….

never having to study, i breezed through highschool and subsiquently jr. college but while home on summer break between my 2 and 3rd year in college i suffered a traumatic head injury halfway through my college career, thereby forcing me to learn to study this was especially dificult considering i was used to sleeping throu all or most of my classes anyways, afterwards i had to learn to study and barely passed erning my BS. degree in psychology!
